Situated at Amreya near Alexandria in Egypt, Alexandria Carbon Black is an Indo-Egyptian joint venture of the Aditya Birla Group of India. Established in 1994, the company went on stream with technological participation from continental Carbon Company, USA, a world leader in Carbon Black. Young and raring to excel, our state-of-the-art plant stealthily grew in its capacity from a modest 20.000 tons/year at inception to our present capacity of 110,000 tons/year. That is a growth of 6 times in 5 year. This makes us the fastest growing Carbon Black company in the world.

Our Products find popular acceptance worldwide. They go into everything from tyres, other rubber goods, plastics, inks, dyes and paints. Carbon Black is available in units of 25Kgs in multi-wall Kraft paper and plastic bags stretched or shrink wrapped on pallets or jumbo bags containing 1000Kgs. For specific requirements of bulk supply, we use our sophisticated instant bulk loading system. For our UK, Belgium, France and other European customers, we also supply in bins and hoppers-cars from our decanting stations, ACB(UK) Ltd and ACB(Belgium) Ltd.
