Centurion Energy International Inc. is a dynamic oil and gas Company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada focused on exploration and production in North Africa. The company currently holds interests in an exploration and production concession in Tunisia and exploration concessions in Egypt. Centurion is a Canadian public company with shares trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CUX. The company was formed in May 1997 from the merger of Canadian Leader Energy Inc. and Eagle Energy Corp. Since that time, a new management team has developed a clear focus on North Africa, which was emphasized by the sale of the company's Canadian assets in early 1998.
