THOR Geophysical offers high-resolution 2D and 3D seismic land data acquisition for all environments worldwide. Production 3D seismic surveys with more than 1500 live channels have been carried out for the oil and gas industry, including high-resolution 3D surveys for underground gas storage projects. The latest state-of-the-art technology, such as the 24-bit Delta Sigma seismic telemetry system ARAM24, is used for all surveys. THOR Geophysical provides Vibroseis as well as explosive and airgun seismics and has reintroduced field processing to its field crews. Each THOR crew is equipped with a complete processing system supervised by a geophysicist. This move from the processing centre back into the field has improved turnaround time and allows streamlining of the processing sequence, thus enabling a higher quality data set to be delivered to the client at lower cost.
