Bilateral Talks with World Bank’s Director for Energy and Extractive Global Practice

Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources received Mr. Lucio Monari, Director for Energy and Extractive Global Practice in the World Bank. They reviewed, during the meeting, status of projects the Bank contributes to financing, as well as new projects and available investment opportunities.

The Minister asserted on Egypt’s keenness on strengthening economic ties with leading international monetary institutions in opening new work domains to invest in the Egyptian Petroleum Sector.

For his part. Mr. Monari pointed out successful projects the Bank has contributed to financing such as conveying houses with natural gas and the ambitious Petroleum Sector Modernization Project currently in the implementation phase.
