Panel Discussion about the Future of Energy in the Region

During his visit to Jordan to attend the proceedings of The 3rd Jordan International Energy Summit, Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources participated in a Panel Discussion about the future of energy in the region in addition to the challenges and investment opportunities in Oil & Gas domains.

It is noteworthy that the Ministers of Petroleum and Energy of Jordan, Iraq, Libya and Hungary attended the Summit.

The Minister reviewed in his speech the recent agreement to establish a gas pipeline from Cyprus to Egypt as well as an agreement with Iraq to start executing the petroleum pipeline from Iraq through Jordan to the Egyptian Refineries. A parallel gas pipeline will also be established to supply crude oil pumps.

On the sideline of the summit, The Minister and the Jordanian Energy Ministers witnessed the signing of 4 agreements for the Egyptian Jordanian “Fagr” company.
