The Minister Participates in the PDAC 2017 International Convention in Canada

Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources participated in this year's Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Annual Convention at the Canadian city, Toronto.

The Minister headed a delegation of the Ministryís Undersecretary for Mineral Resources and the Head of the Central Department of Mines, Quarries and Mineral Projects. About 65 countries participated in the event as exhibitors and around 30 thousand major mining companies worldwide. On the sidelines of the event, the Minister participated in a session organized by the African Mining Organization; the session conjoined several African countriesí Mining Ministers as well as CEOs of major international mining companies.

The Minister also participated in the Annual International Mines Ministers' Summit, which witnessed the participation of more than 30 Mining Ministers in addition to CEOs of major mining companies and mining officials in the World Bank, World Economic Forum & several other financial & economic officials .
