Talks with China Development Bank's Delegation in Oil & Gas Domains

Eng.Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, received a delegation from China Development Bank (CDB ), headed by the Vice President for International Cooperation of America and Africa regions.

The bank is one of the largest International financial institutions especially in the exploration activities. The bank expressed its willingness to provide funding for petroleum activities in Egypt, in addition to coordinating the efforts of the Chinese leading oil and oil services companies, to enter as partners with the Petroleum Sector in financing petroleum projects.

The Minister of Petroleum pointed out that there are several attracting investment opportunities in the Petroleum Sector to bolster and promote the Chinese - Egyptian relations, especially in exploration and production activities to finance the ageing oil fields, in an investment to help increase production rates, as well as refining and infrastructure projects of oil and gas pipelines & petrochemical projects in addition to mineral resources activities.
