Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources held extensive meetings with a number of heads of Arab and foreign companies operating in Egypt, e.g. UAE Dana Gas and the English company British Gas and Malaysia's Petronas and the French company Angie to review their companies’ work programs during the coming period and the position of the implementation of exploration & development projects in their concession areas.
During his meeting with the delegations of the companies, the Minister discussed the current situation of the companies’ work programs in Egypt and reviewed the time-bound programs for exploration and development. Also, he reviewed the current situation of the work plans of companies in their concession areas at the Mediterranean, (9 b) deep west Delta as well as linking the French company, Angie’s new fields at west EL Burullus in the Mediterranean region with El Burullus Gas Company’s production facilities at a production rate of 100 million cubic feet per day.
