Minister of Petroleum Visits Ain Sukhna

Eng. Sherif Ismail, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited the storage capacity projects of the Arab Petroleum Pipelines co. (SUMED) at Ain Sukhna.

The Minister pointed out that the implementation of these projects at Sumed’s terminal in Ain Sukhna is part of the Ministry of Petroleum’s policy to increase storage capacities of petroleum products to give sufficient flexibility to enhance petroleum products trading system and infrastructure improvement.

He added that the future perspective of the Ministry of Petroleum targeting the contribution of Sumed in strategic projects to meet the needs of the domestic market of petroleum products , financing and contributing to the implementation of these projects .

He also visited Ruhrpumpen Co.’s plant for manufacturing drilling equipment, in addition to polyester production project at the economic zone.
