The Drivers Signed up for Fuel Smart Cards

Yasser Ezz, project manager at the company that is printing the fuel cards, said that 850,000 cars out of six million licensed vehicles in Egypt have registered on the company’s website in order to receive the gasoline and diesel smart cards.

He added that the deadline for application would be announced once 60 percent of the total number of cars file a request for the cards.

“We will complete registration for factories, large companies and hotels in January,” said company director Ibrahim Sarhan. “After that, we will begin working on individual applications.”
