New Phosphate Fertilizer Factory in Sadat City

With the presence of His Excellency Engineer Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Commerce & Industry, the “National Fertilizers and Chemicals Company (S.A.E.) (NFC)” signed a contract with the French company” LITWIN Group “to establish a new factory in Sadat City.

Egypt Kuwait Holding Company (EKH) has the largest share in NFC (61%). NFC’s paid in capital is EGP 500 Million. The company will produce Sulfuric Acid, granulated single/ triple super Phosphate, Potassium Sulfate and compounded fertilizers.

Also, the “LITWIN Group” is considered one of the biggest global companies in establishing phosphate fertilizers’ factories, and the investment cost of the project is approximately EGP 1.5 Billion.

NFC investment makes EKH’s fertilizer platform one of the largest in the local market with a diversified product line that will include the three main categories of inorganic fertilizers: Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potassium.
