Eng. Sameh Fahmy the Minister of Petroleum had Emphasized the importance of manufacturing gas turbines locally. In this respect the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (Engine Factory) involving
gas turbines manufacturing, refurbishment, repair, in addition to spare parts manufacturing.
Recently EMC & the Arab Organization for Industrialization successfully manufactured Nitrogen turbines involving high technologies in favor of a local Egyptian Petroleum company.
